Insurance
Please show your National Health Insurance (kokumin kenko-hoken) or Employee Health Insurance (shakai kenko-hoken) at check-in, on the first visit of every month, for medical billing purposes. Prices for dental procedures are based on a medical points system, and insurance covers up to 70 percent of costs; you pay the other 30 percent out of pocket.
If you have another form of private medical coverage or forget your insurance card, you will typically be required to pay 100 percent of all costs.
Dental costs not covered by Japanese health insurance are usually related to cosmetic care, including Same-Day Crowns and Fillings,implants and teeth whitening. For further clarification, please feel free to contact us.
